When you use our services, we collect the personal information you give us such as (but not limited to) your name, cellphone number, physical and email address for the purpose of understanding your needs, allocating an appropriate Service Partner and delivering services to your expectation. We communicate using, but not limited to, phone calls, WhatsApp, SMS and email for the purpose of delivering a professional service. When you browse our website, we also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address which helps us see which area you are located in in addition to help us know which browser and operating system you using so that we can display information in an appropriate and easy to read manner.
3. MARKETING
We may send you emails, SMS or other communication about current or future services. By providing your personal information with the intention to transact with us, you agree to us sending you such marketing messages. You do however retain the right to request us to remove you from marketing communication. For this purpose, all communication will be sent with an “opt-out” link. Should this not be successful, please send us an email at info@installco.co.za and we will action your request within 72 hours.
4. CONSENT
When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction or verify your payment details we accept that you consent to our collecting this information and using it responsibly and for that specific purpose. If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing, we will either ask you directly for your expressed consent, or provide you with an opportunity to say no and/or opt out.
If you would like to withdraw consent to marketing messages, you may withdraw your consent at any time. 6. THIRD PARTY DEVELOPMENT AND HOSTING
Our IT systems and platform is developed, maintained and hosted by third parties appointed by the company from time to time. Your data is stored through our platforms data storage mechanism. At all times your data will be stored on a secure server behind a firewall and transmitted in a secure manner using encryption.
If you choose to use our platform to make payment then we will store your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete the transaction. After that is complete, your information is deleted. All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard and American Express. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.
